Aurora Fonda

Aurora Fonda, PhD in Art History, has focused her research on the developments of contemporary arts in Eastern European Countries, in particular in the Balkans. She has curated several exhibitions of emerging artists and she has been the curator of the Slovene pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2001 and 2015.She has curated also  solo show by Giorgio De Chirico, Lucio Fontana, Jannis Kounnellis, Enzo Cucchi.

Since 2003 she has been running the A plus A gallery, and since 2004 the School for Curatorial Studies Venice.

Responsabile del programma curatoriale.

da anni opera attivamente nel campo della curatela. Nell'ambito della scuola coordina e seleziona il corpo docenti e segue attivamente i programmi dei corsi.

Dottore di ricerca in arte contemporanea, cura il padiglione sloveno alla Biennale di Venezia del 2001 e del 2015. Cura numerose mostre in Italia e all’estero, da Jannnis Kounellis, Enzo Cucchi ad artisti emergenti.
